On the morning of April 14th, Zhao Lei, a senior expert in the field of sterile technology at Teling Biotech, shared "Exploration and Practice of Industrialization Equipment for Immune Cell Drugs". Zhao Lei pointed out that immune cell drugs are a new type of biological product with significant therapeutic effects and high safety, and are an important development direction in the future field of biomedicine. However, cost reduction and efficiency improvement have become the main challenges in the cell therapy industry, which need to be addressed through technological innovation and equipment upgrades. CAR-T cells account for the largest proportion in various stages of immune cell drugs,, TCR-T, NK, TIL, etc. have also shown an increasing trend. When choosing the industrialization route of immune cells from a regulatory perspective, multiple aspects such as production processes, equipment, and environment need to be considered. Only production processes and equipment that meet GMP requirements can ensure product quality and safety. Therefore, it is particularly important to explore and practice domestically produced equipment that meets GMP requirements.
